The BILLFISHER was built by Spencer Yachts in Wanchese North Carolina. She was launched in June of 2008. The BILLFISHER is powered by a pair of C-32 Acert Caterpillars which produce 1800 horsepower a piece allowing the BILLFISHER to have a cruising speed of 35 knots. Her hull is constructed out of triple planked Joubert plywood which is encapsulated in fiberglass. Spencer Yachts modern construction methods create a hull which is not only extremely strong, but also lightweight. This is what allows the BILLFISHER to have the high cruising speed, without sacrificing efficiency. We have outfitted the BILLFISHER with the latest in today's marine electronics including a Northstar 6100i with Sirius Satellite WX and SST capabilities, a Furuno Navnet3, FCV1200 fishfinder, Furuno RD30, ICOM 804 SSB, 2 ICOM 604 VHFs, and a FLIR night vision camera. The interior of the BILLFISHER is a comfortable setting with cozy leather couches, a 42" LCD television with DIRECTV service, and a full galley with convection microwave and sub-zero refrigeration. The cockpit of the BILLFISHER has a mezzanine couch, refrigerated drink boxes, a Gagganau BBQ grill, and an Eskimo icemaker. A Release Marine fighting chair, 4 live well pumps, and an oversized fishbox ensure that the BILLFISHER is equipped for any type fishing.

The BILLFISHER is equipped with a full range of Shimano reels from 12 lb to 130 lb class tackle. All of our rods and gaffs are custom built by Rods by Dru, and ANDE Monofilament is our fishing line of choice. We use BAITMASTERS of South Florida for all of our quality bait needs because we all know the importance of having the best bait.
